A Target Needs a Route, and a Route Needs a Risk Budget

Saying "I want to double my account in three months" is a goal, not a plan. The Account Roadmap turns it into numbers: how much the account has to grow each month, how many trades that takes at your pace, and how much of the account each trade can risk without a normal losing streak pushing you past the drawdown you can accept.

How the Numbers Are Built

Each trade is modelled with your win rate and reward-to-risk ratio, plus a small allowance for fees. From that comes an average result per trade, the risk per trade needed to reach the target, and a typical longest losing streak. The recommended risk is the lower of what the target needs and what keeps that streak inside your drawdown limit. A simulation of thousands of runs then estimates how often the plan reaches the target and how often it hits the limit.

Stops Come From Volatility

A stop that is too tight gets hit by ordinary movement, and one that is too wide breaks the risk budget. The roadmap sizes each stop as a share of the pair's typical daily range, then sets position size from the dollars you are willing to risk, and picks the lowest leverage that keeps the margin within your cap.

After Every Trade

Logged trades update the balance, the distance from your peak and your losing streak. Risk is trimmed after drawdowns and streaks and is never raised to win money back. Your real win rate and reward-to-risk gradually replace your starting assumptions.

This is a planning model, not a prediction. Win rates change with markets, volatility estimates are approximate, and no plan can promise a return or prevent a loss. Treat it as a way to see what a target really requires, not as financial advice.
